Hebrew University Israel
On May 13th 2008, a conference took place in the Hebrew University that united Jews, Muslims and Christians with the goal of spreading the seven universal laws of Noah. These laws will transform the world into a place of peace. Jerusalem, the eternal center of intellectual and spiritual development of the world, hosted this important meeting. Rav Yakov Cohen, from the Institute of the Noahide Code was the representative of the Jewish community. The Sheik Abdul Salam, head of the Sufi Mosque of Nazareth, came to represent the Muslims, and Reverend Michael Kroop, former teacher in the University was the Christian representative. With the intense participation of approximately 50 individuals included many young people, adults and families of different races and religions, the atmosphere of the conference anticipates what will be the future of the Middle East and of the world. The three representatives asserted their absolute conviction in the universality of the seven laws of Noah. These laws which apply to all humanity*, were retransmitted at Sinai to Moses and have been spread all over the world in the last few years, as the most powerful formula to re-balance society for all nations of the world. In our time it is very important that each person, independent of his religious creed, his race or political choices, makes sure that he/she is making a contribution, through his/her own behavior to balance the world. For the continuation of existence of humanity, it is crucial that every one recognizes and implements the seven universal laws of Noah in his/her own life. In this way he will be accomplishing his own mission and also connecting himself with the whole reconstruction of humanity into direction of peace. In the conference many questions were asked and answered, and the meeting closed in an atmosphere of peace and understanding. The seven universal laws of Noah were already recognized by the American Congress as the basis for the reconstruction of humanity. (March 20,1991). * Moses revelation on Sinai specifies for the Jewish people 613 laws.
